I wanted clarity
I wanted to understand my fertility, not because I was trying for a baby, but because I wanted clarity before it became urgent. What I found instead was resistance, waitlists, and 'come back later'. The truth is, women are having kids later. The average age for a first-time mom in the Netherlands is 30.3. Yet no one’s really talking to the women in the middle - the ones who are curious, planning ahead, or simply want to know what’s going on with their bodies.
We deserve access to information before things get complicated. That’s why Athena exists.

We have partnered with the leading provider of online lab diagnostics in the Netherlands. With over 20,000 successful analyses and state-of-the-art facilities located in the Amsterdam area, our lab partner ensures that your samples are stable and reliable for testing.
Upon arrival, your sample is checked for temperature, volume and transit time and all results are reviewed by our clinical chemist.
